Mullein Identification
Tall and wooly. Base leaves are oblong, usually 8 to 12 inches long and 4 to 5 inches wide, and covered with thick, velvety hairs. Leaves get progressively smaller towards the center of the plant. In its second and last year, it sends up a dramatic stalk that is also covered in down. Blossoms at the top.
